One-day Seminar on “Python in Data science”

A One-day Seminar on “Python in Data science” was organized on 14.08.2018 by the Department of Computer Science for the students of third year and second year of computer science. The program started with a warm welcome by the Head of the Department Mr.N.Rengasamy. The resource person Mrs.Famila Software Developer, Genesys Academy of Computer Science, Pondicherry delivered a lecture on the essential concepts of Python programming and gave in-depth knowledge in data analytics, machine learning, data visualization, web scraping, and natural language processing, Data Science tools using Python. The Key features of taking up course on Data Science with Python facilitated the students to a greater level. A brief description about the job openings, required skills for jobs in Data science, and the demand for Data science professionals was also discussed in the Seminar. Participation certificate was given to all the participants. The organizing secretary of this program Mrs.S.T.Arokkiya Mary Assistant Professor gave the vote of thanks.
