About IQAC

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) has been created at the instance of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous body established by the University Grants Commission (UGC), as a post accreditation quality sustenance activity. The stated objective of the IQAC is to establish quality culture in the institution. The IQAC is meant for planning, guiding and monitoring Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities of the institution. The IQAC channelizes and systematizes the efforts and measures of the institution towards academic excellence. It is not yet another hierarchical structure or record-keeping exercise; instead, it is a facilitative and participative organ - a driving force for ushering in quality by working out intervention strategies to remove deficiencies and enhance quality.
